John Mayer and a few surviving members of the Grateful Dead may be ramping up a fall tour that would follow the band's "Fare Thee Well" sayonara shows - but it won't impugn the spirit of their finality because not all the Dead's remaining players would be involved, Mashable has learned. Billboard reported on Friday that Mayer is rehearsing with members of the group for a tour that would kick off in October.
